April 2022 Meeting

Members met at Jerry's Artarama in Raleigh on April 14th.  

Creativity Exercise

Laurel Rupe lead a fun cooperative drawing exercise. Each person received a pattern and drew it onto others' papers producing a very detailed picture.

• Considering a replacement for Joe's workshop, a member playdate, and others- some ideas were discussed and will be explored by board members.

Member Incentive Program

Congratulations to Katherine Stein for winning the $50.00 gift card for the first quarter member participation incentive program.

 

Nominations & Elections for Board Vacancies

Members voted unanimously to slot Lisa Yerby (current Member at Large) in to the Treasurer's position with Katherine's decision to step down in May.  Maggie Kehoe was elected Member at Large to fill Lisa's position. 

Member Challenges

The results of the #DTIYS challenge for 1Q2022 were shared at the April #cmmag2022 meeting.  Here are some of the pieces inspired by Rousseau's Sleeping Gypsy.  Second quarter's inspirational piece is Monet's Water Lilies.
